Meet the co-founders

Built by music people, for modern music collaboration.

Sessions.Audio was created by co-founders who understand the emotional, practical, and professional sides of making music: the artist’s need for meaningful paid work, and the creator’s need for trusted talent who can elevate a song.

The co-founders

Jerry Slavonia and Preston Pope bring complementary musical lives to the same mission: making professional music collaboration more accessible, more trusted, and more human.

Jerry Slavonia

Musician, vocalist, guitarist, entrepreneur, and company builder

Jerry Slavonia is a musician, entrepreneur, and company builder whose work has always moved between songs, stories, and scale. As the front man, vocalist, and guitarist for Honey Cane, Jerry has spent nearly two decades helping shape the band’s soulful California sound — a blend of Americana, indie-folk, rock, and sunlit melodic storytelling.

Before and alongside his musical life, Jerry built a career in technology and education, including work with Rent.com and eBay, and as the founder of Archer Education. That experience gave him a practical understanding of marketplaces, growth, and how digital platforms can unlock access at scale.

At Sessions.Audio, Jerry brings those two worlds together. He understands the creative side of music — the vulnerability of the song, the chemistry of collaboration, the importance of the right performance — and he also understands what it takes to build systems that help people find one another.

Why Sessions matters

Great music happens when talented people find the right room, the right song, and the right moment. Sessions.Audio exists to make that possible for more creators, more musicians, and more projects.

Preston Pope

Musician, producer, technologist, and creative collaborator

Preston Pope is a musician, producer, and technologist whose work lives at the intersection of songs, sound, and software. As an artist and producer, he has contributed to projects including The Dales, a band recognized for heartfelt songwriting, rich harmonies, and emotionally grounded performances.

His creative instincts also extend into technology. Preston has helped build software products including Vyclone, an early collaborative social video platform, and FosterNation, a platform supporting foster youth as they transition into adulthood.

At Sessions.Audio, Preston helps shape a platform built for the way music is made now: across cities, studios, genres, and time zones. His perspective is deeply artist-forward, grounded in the importance of finding the right person for the song and giving working musicians better access to meaningful paid opportunities.

Why Sessions matters

Sessions.Audio is a way to bring great musical talent into the room, even when the room is digital — and to help working musicians build real opportunity from their craft.

A platform shaped by the way music actually gets made.

Sessions.Audio was built around a simple truth: songs are often shaped by one perfect contribution — a voice, a part, a mix decision, a harmony, a lyric, a rhythm, a performance. The challenge is finding that person at the moment the song needs them.

The platform gives creators a clearer way to find that talent, while helping musicians and audio professionals reach meaningful paid work beyond their local market. It is part marketplace, part creative infrastructure, and part belief system: the best performance can come from anywhere.
